This is going to be my hardest page, I hate to talk about myself, but if you want to know:
I am 29 years old born on june 6th 1975, my dad (Rick), bought me a Yamaha PW 50 on my 4th birthday, and my first ride resulted in a crash into the freashly stacked wood pile. Which resulted in me restacking my ass off....But as fate would have it, I would remount to become somewhat of a daredevil, and I was pretty good, unlike basketball
baseball, lacrosse, football, hockey, well you get the point...
Next came the races, a friend of mine Corey Weese gave us a call and asked if we would like to go to Geneva for a shot at racing, we accepted and the rest was history. I went to the first race and cleaned house, and carried that throught the season, dad must have saw something he liked cause we went every weekend for the next five years or so.
Soon the local races were not enough we needed to expand our horizons, we started going to Afton, NY, Beldon Hills, ny, and then we went to the amature nationals in 1991. Peoria Ill was the sight of my first two amature grand national titles, 125 Scoolboy & 125 mod. The next season we went back and won the 250 mod class with a blown motor!!!!!
The 1993 season I turned pro-am, an entry level pro class, I won four regional events and place third in the points, and only races half the events. From that season on dad decided that I needed a ride and got me hooked up with Ray Little, we went racing all over the country till he was broke, and that was the end of things untill I could support my own habit....
I did alot of motocross racing in 1995-2000, even turning professional and racing the tampa & daytona supercrosses, only to get my butt kicked....They are stupid fast....
That led me to back surgery and the end of my motocross career...
Dave waters convinced me to build a dirt tracker in the winter of 2001, he aided in the costs and off I went to Geneva, after five years or so I felt like I never missed a beat, but I'm positive I had. I started winning and decided to try pro on my own, and I made the first grand National race I had entered in a long time... National #97 , a real big deal since you have to get into a main event to obtain a number!!!!!
Thats where I stand right now, just trying to get by with the equiptment that I can afford and keep my national number in hopes that a bigger team might see me and take me in, to become a contender for the grand national championship....If you read this and you own a team, please call me...585-703-9863.
Thanks for being interisted!!!!!!
