"Flat Trackers Take on Nashville Supermoto"
Here is what FTI had to say about RJ..
"After a first turn incident in Semi #2, RJ rejoined the race one lap down & showed good promise running and keeping with the leaders of that race"
Interview with FTI after the race..
How did it go for your first Supermoto? It's a totally different sport, we dirt trackers can do really well, even though you are sliding on pavement, you are still sliding. I definitely want to do it and am going home to work on the bike and hopefully put it in the main at the Virginia round. You were knocked down in the first turn of Semi number two and collected JR Schnabel in the process, but gathered yourself up and ran with the front runners, although a lap down. Yeah, I didn't want to ruin the race for anyone else, so I let those guys go by and just tucked in behind them. It definitely made my night being able to run the pace of those guys.
